Samsung portable dvd writer application not found portable#
Overall this is a very good portable DVD player and I certainly recommend it. While plenty of people don't have 3.0 yet, if you want the faster connection, this doesn't have it. Another thing to be aware of is that this is USB 2.0, not 3.0. But I have had this for several years and have never once used it to create my own, mostly because we all now tend to put stuff on flash drives rather than make permanent copies. If you know you are going to be creating your own CDs or DVDs, then this is certainly a good product. The truth is, however, that this might actually be more ability than a lot of people need, and at 50 bucks you might want a less advanced model. The read capability of this is impressive, as it does indeed successfully read standard DVDs as well as CDs and every version of written and rewritten DVD or CD I've put in it. Most importantly, it is plug and play you never have to do anything special to get this DVD player to work. The slim design and cord that folds up neatly into the device itself make it a breeze to pack up and transport. At less than a pound, you can carry this with you virtually anywhere and it won't add any noticeable weight to your bag.
This Samsung version is light, easy to transport, and simple to use.
As laptops have been steadily trending towards not having a DVD drive anymore, many of us find we need another way to use our DVDs. I like almost everything about this device. A very good DVD player that might be more than you need.
